Parlor Rug-Large (43″ x 28.5″)

This large version of Parlor Rug is perfect for extra-wide and/or hand-torn wool strips.  You’ll get an extra-cushy feeling under your feet with these big, billowy loops!

I am currently hooking my rug in mostly #16 cuts (1/2 inch) with #9 cuts for some of the smaller areas.  I love the look of textured woolens when they are cut this big!  I’m using a 8mm Hartman hook and pushing it down all the way to the handle to create a large enough hole to pull up the strips.  You could also use a 9 mm Hartman hook to do the same.  This is one FUN project!
